陳女士非常感謝各方的幫助，特別感謝 IKEA 宜家家居轉贈傢俱給她們一家，令新屋變成安逸的安樂窩。
Ms. Chen (pseudonym) and four family members lived in a subdivided unit with no cubicles. Whole family relies on husband ‘s income for daily life. Although Ms. Chen suffers from postnatal adjustment disorder, she does her best to take care of her family. As her children also have medical treatment in hospital regularly, Ms. Chen is busy every day.
They were forced to sleep on a bunk bed. As their children grew up, their father slept on the ground sometimes. They lived a hard life.
Fortunately, they have been assigned a public housing recently. However, the costs of decoration and furniture are expensive. Also, the furniture in the subdivided unit is provided by the owner that cannot be moved. Ms. Chen feels pressured.
Understanding the needs of Ms. Chen, Project Space visited her new house. We provided her with interior design suggestions and assisted her in applying for furniture. Thanks to IKEA, Ms. Chen’s furniture problem has been solved. She is very grateful to all parties, especially IKEA 宜家家居 who donated furniture to their family. The new house is full of furniture and love now.
